Missoula October Weather

Looking for input on Missoula, MT weather the first week of October. I realize anything can happen on any given day but looking for normal historical trends for that week. Snow, no snow?

Based on Intellicast historical lows are in the mid 30's which I can handle and October historical snow fall is only 1.3" but thought maybe locals would have more feedback.

As a "local" who just saw your post, I am curious if you made it to Missoula?
For what it's worth, the weather is cool with some days of rain. Not perfect. Cool, damp days and temps near freezing at night. Love Missoula so I hope hope you're having fun.

Yes we made is to Missoula as planned. Arrived on Saturday the 29th. Stayed at Jim & Mary's RV Park. This park is excellent with both pull through and back in spots and they have an excellent bath house/laundry house. Most of the days were wet and rainy but we made the best of it. On Tuesday we drove up to Glacier National Park and got turned around at the Avalanche campground due to road closure from snow higher up. It was my wife my oldest daughter and myself and while we got wet and snowed on during the trip up we had a good time.

There are plenty of real good websites that 'document' the 'actual' historical temps and conditions of any given area in the US.

I sure would NOT want to rely on a locals account of what they remember the historical temps were within a given week! :B

Interesting. Not sure how the locals would be more accurate than actual data.
