Went camping, er glamping, to Williams Az.
Everyone asks why we always go there.
It's amazing. We always see something different or find a new trail or a new bar, lol.
About 150 miles north of Lake Havasu to over 7000' elevation.
Almost 300 miles on the rzr.
Saw a herd of mule deer run right across our path and then a herd of elk with a huge bull and nice rack.
Went up to Bill Williams Tower which is about 9300'.
Saw a bobcat for the first time. Last trip we saw a mountain lion.
Grand Canyon Railway came by to see us too.
High 70's for the day and 50's for the night. Beats the Havasu heat
And always a visit to Grand Canyon Brewery.

Too lazy to boondock there. Stay at the Grand Canyon Railway RV park so we can walk to the brewery (and stagger back)! Great pix, thanks!

Wife likes their prickly pear vodka. Found it here in Havasu at the walmart for less money.

Yes, Mavic Pro.
I like it for the portability but it has too many notifications to make it fun to fly
Had a Phantom advanced that you just turned on and EZ to fly

What do you mean to many notifications? I am curious. I fly racing drones. Not very good at it though!!

update flysafe database
firmware update required
obstacle avoidance is off
flying in restricted area
high winds
Yes i could change all that but it's been known to leave it alone if it flies ok instead upgrading and having problems
I understand the NFZ's but they increased dramatically going to the DJI GO APP 4
The drone can't even make it 5 miles to the airport let alone make it back to the home point. Maybe make it a 1 mile radius where you can't fly
I used to just fly out my backyard.
If you use the DJI map or Airmap it will show restricted areas or at least areas to fly with caution.
I was in the middle of nowhere or so i thought in Williams and wanted to video my wife driving the rzr.
I couldn't take off. I had to confirm my actions and send in my phone number or credit card number to unlock the geo zones.
There was an airport within 5 miles that i didn't know about. It probably has 1 plane come in per week.
Wife comes back and asked if I got it. nope. go again, lol

I was using Avegant glyph goggles and following here
Can't imagine racing a drone. I'm not very good, lol

This isn't my picture but this is what might come up before you can fly
