Texas Hill Country Roads

Anyone planning to travel thru the Texas hill country any time soon should check ahead for road conditions due to flooding. Some bridges have been washed out and a number of, mostly secondary, highways are closed. The only main highway I am aware of is US 377 south of Junction. But other smaller highways are closed in the same area as well as around the Mason, Llano, and Marble Falls areas. Unfortunately there was a loss of several lives when an RV park in Junction was washed away.

Also around Kingsland. This is where a bridge was washed out. This is just east of Llano Texas. Several other places along the Llano river has been flooded.

The rv Park that lost several Rv's was a very new park. In Junction , Texas along the Llano river. We saw them working on it . It has only been open about a year. Several people lost their lives in this flooded rv park.
