Driver's side window why no awnings?

We have awnings on all windows except the driver's side window.

Actually I've never seen a class A with an outside awning on that window. Wonder why?

There's a side curtain inside but that's about it for sun shade.

Maybe it's a wind noise issue? or...

Would like to see pics too. I assume that at the very least, a matching door awning, which on mine is armless, could go on that side.

Ivylog, I would like to see a pic of your added driver's window awning. I've never seen an installation like that.

Most drivers windows have no space at the front of the window to mount the front awning arm. Especially if the side window is not rectangular but has a sloped radius to the front side . Doug

Agree that big a window needs one so I’ve added 4’ lateral arm awnings to both of my rigs over the driver’s window. Latest one is electric.

That window usually has exterior covers on it, along with the windshield and the door....Dennis

The window by the drivers seat. Maybe a wind issue or a vision blocker.

Which window? Bedroom, Living area, cockpit?

I've had several Motorhomes and they all had awnings on all drivers side windows. It's common for the living area window under the main coach awning to not have one, but thats on the passenger side.

Some levels of coaches only offer awnings as an option, but it doesn't appear to be the issue of your question.
