Replace slide out weather strip

We have a 2015 Winnebago Vista. The weather strip on the bottom of the slide is tearing away from where it attaches to the bottom of the opening. Has any one replaced this? Is it stapled, screwed or glued on? Winnebago was not helpful in saying how it was attached, but does sell replacement strip.

We also have a 2015 Vista and one of ours got torn. I used the nasty flammable type of contact cement to attach a patch made from a free bad inner tube I got from a tire shop. Worked well.

If it is glued, use 3M weatherstrip cement YELLOW. It's what my RV shop uses and I can say it works very well. Glued mine on with it 3 years ago and no sign of it coming loose.

The one on my TT slides into a groove and has a screw at the end to hold it in place.
Try opening the slide and looking at the very bottom to see.

But I am referring to the one on the slide itself.
