... depends on the shape of the eggs, classic, square, or octagonal (designer-shaped eggs bring a premium)

I don't get the love affair with the 8.1.

I owned a 03 2500 8.1 Burb for about a year and a half. Used it to tow my 7000 pound boat. Overall mileage was 9.84 MPG. While it was more stable than my 2011 Yukon Denali XL, the 6.2 in my Yukon is hands down better. Pulls better. Stops better. Interior is worlds better. And gets better MPG towing my boat than the Burb got solo.

That said, seems like a good price for the linked Burb, if that is what you are looking for.

I know we have talked before but I have the complete 180 opinion. I had the 07 denali with the 6.2. My camper only weighed 4600lbs dry and it struggled badly. My new camper weighs about 10k loaded and I just pulled it yesterday. I know this is kinda dumb but i was on the interstate yesterday and I just wanted to get around a few campers going about 70. I went around them a little over 80mph going slightly uphill and it never even kicked down. I pull In 3rd gear. You can't even put that weight behind a denali. I think the 8.1 shines with heavy weight. The torque curve is why the 8.1 shines in my opinion. Not trying to argue I just want people to have both sides of the coin if they are trying to buy a new tow vehicle.
