Help! I am a new owner of a Georgetown 377, and one thing I can't seem to figure out is how to recline the chair. Dealer told me it was just a swivel chair, but looking at it tonight it is a recliner, I just can't figure it out.

It would be helpful if you explained how you resolved it.
Or, the OP just said that to get out of this.

On some "Euro Chairs" it will be on the underside of an arm rest.. All I can tell you.. Wife sat down so hard mine broke so when she died I tossed it and can't look or take photos.

You should have an owner's manual in the bag if you still have the bag.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

It may be bent and out of line with the reclining mechanism underneath. My grandson bought a new one that would not recline and I turned it over and found it probably had been dropped in a sideway angle and the sliding was binding. I realigned it and works fine now.

Tried everything. Just won't budge. Must have a lock on it, but I can't figure it out.

That's not simply a "push on the arms" recliner is it? There is not lever or any visible hardware, you just hold onto both arms and push forward on the arms and backward on the back of the chair. Presto!
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

I have tried all of the above, and just can't figure it out. The mechanism is a leggett and platt "4108" rv recliner. Trying to find specs/instructions on line, but no luck so far.

As valhalla360 above posted....flip it over and look for a locking mechanism.

I've seen a few where there is a little strap with a loop in that position.

Otherwise, flip it over and look at the mechanism. It should lead you to the release.
