I grew up on home grown goose for Christmas but my kids donโ€™t care for it so weโ€™ve done prime rib.

From here on - it will be 2-3 kinds of soup because we get them married and then they show up whenever. Dessert will never change - rice pudding with an almond hidden in one dish. The โ€œlucky oneโ€ gets a small gift (maybe an ornament with the year on it. ).

I bake 3 things, my limit. 2 are old, 1 is something new. Add candies wrapped in red, green, silver - itโ€™s enough.

for us its a traditional turkey dinner, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, corn salad bread the works. A spiral ham too if we get enough people.

Lumps

1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup shredded coconut or chopped nuts
3 cups quick cooking oats

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add sugar, milk and cocoa. Bring to boil and cook one minute. Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter, coconut or nuts. Add oats one cup at a time, coating thoroughly.

Immediately drop by Tbsp onto waxed paper or a silicon baking sheet. Let cool and dry.

Peanut butter can be crunchy or smooth, as preferred. You can also substitute Nutella for the cocoa, peanut butter and nuts, and Splenda for the sugar.

Do not try to make these on a humid day. They will not dry.

Here is a recipe for my mom's Cranberry Jello:
6oz Cherry Jello
1 tsp unflavored gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 large can (15oz sounds right) crushed pineapple and the juice with it

This can be made in a semi fancy mold like a bunt cake mold and it makes a nice presentation. All of our family loves it! Super Easy

The regular size can of pineapple is 20 oz.

Yup, it's gonna be the 20oz one. My wife just wrote "Large". Her eyes only
