Base plate rattle?

Did tow a Chevy Sonic behind our 30 ft. Class C. No problem. Last April got a 2017 Ford Focus Hatch, which I like very much. Developed an annoying rattle a couple months ago. Ford says it's the safety cable for the base plate sort of stored underneath and behind the driver's side head light. The place which installed the base plate will be looking at it. Anyone else have this problem?

I agree. While most (or all ?) of the safety cables I've seen are plastic coated, the crimp is metal and exposed, therefore it can easily rattle on the frame. A few zip ties or a re-position should fix it, IF that actually is the rattle.
