For those who have used Heng's, or something similar, did you paint any of the metal trim also? I asked over on the tech section but gbopp was the only one who answered. Just looking for the best seal between the rubber and metal trim. I don't know whether to tape the trim or below the trim.

I think I'd put the coating up on the trim a bit, then Eternabond over the top of =that=. :B

Sorry i mispeled roof. Weak spots, meaning there is some rot on roof top along top by outer edge. Not going to invest money in removing roof, just trying to get another 5 years. Hung coating seems like the best deal.
That's a relief - because if you "foof" has weak spots, then your in big trouble...

Heng's Rubber Roof Coating Works for me. Easy to apply, no primer needed.
Clean your roof well before applying.
I used 2 1/2 gallons to coat 30' of roof.

Have you had any long term results with this product to report . I am interested as to the longevity of this brand .

Ditto on the Hengs. Went on easy and left a thick white coat.

What do you mean by "weak spots"?

If there is a leak causing the underlying plywood to rot, slapping a coating on top, is unlikely to fix it.
