Tomorrow night the forecast calls for -25 f with a wind chill of -65 f. And to think I have to get up at 5:00 am to go to work. Is it spring yet?
This is why I don't live where there are blizzards. I can't imagine getting up in the wee hours to face the freezing cold to dig out the car to go to a job I really would rather not do... ๐
I prefer the cold weather to mudslides, wildfires, earthquakes....etc. Campgrounds are quiet, good hiking, (snoeshoes) ice fishing,

Today is 1-31-19 and we are on the beach just below Vandenberg AFB. Current temp outside is 61 degrees, About what it has been since 1-27-19. Please don't hate us, I was pick over the rocks delivered last night during the tail end of a weather front. I was wearing a long sleeved tee shirt though. Rain forcast for tomorrow, tnmps in the high 50's.

That's what I do. And I drive 35 miles each way on a nasty highway to do it. We only moved 30 miles north of where we were but it is colder and snowier.

It's called winter and the latter of January / beginning of February is typically the worst of it. It has been for about the last 10000 years.
Just because the Weather Channel and others have to sensationalize everything and name it as a storm every time a snowflake falls or the temp drops below 32, that does not equate to a catastrophe, a conspiracy, or a national emergency requiring martial law.
