That’s why I asked the OP if he had kids. No answer.

Libby’s is awesome but pricey and hard to get into.

KOA Bar Harbor is good but we were never there in high season.

Mop340Cuda, Wild Duck is closer to Portland. If you go to rv park reviews, go to Maine, Portland, you will find others, plus of course reviews of the campgrounds and their amenities

Lobster Buoy is one of our favorites.

Also:

Camden Hills State Park

Winslow Memorial Park is just north of Portland in Freeport, home of LL Bean.

If you want to spend some time Freeport visiting LL Bean and other shops, you can even park overnight in town.

Were heading up to Camden Hills State Park in mid June, will be our first time exploring the Rockport/Camden area. Going to bring our road bikes & kayaks, should be a fun trip! [emoticon]
