There have been several hints about this on the TV broadcasts of the NASCAR truck series.....which is/was sponsored by Camping World.

Personally......I find the new format, where half the store or more is now taken up by guns and boats even LESS appealing that it was before.

Wouldn't bother me if CW went belly up, it would serve Marcus right, but I'm sure CW is too big to fail.

We were in a Polaris SXS store in AZ that had half the store devoted to hunting supplies. One stop shopping.

CW announced it would close stores that were underperforming some time ago.

Don't know. I might need me a new gun. The one I got pulls my pants down some. need something lighter.

Sears was dead many decades ago, management just didn't know it.

I would bet Camping world is in debt up to their eyeballs. Marcus always talks about going public but never does I think they are up side down on their numbers. Best way to make a living in RV gear is to open a shop right next to a Camping World...

Gander Mountain has gone bankrupt at least once in the past along with the most recent bankruptcy / closing / reorganization (or whatever term they use to hide a company that isn't working). I am a little surprised anyone would want their name.
