Question: Does anyone have pics or knows the name of the component that's causing my slides and leveling system to trip, then resets itself every few seconds before eventually completing the function?

I've checked our 5ver's paperwork for the leveling system but don't see anything for troubleshooting this issue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Noted above. Probably located near battery and hydraulic pump. And probably two or more of them and protected by red plastic covers. The one to the hydraulic pump would be the bad one and the only one needing replacement. Amp rating should be stamped on the side of it.

There is an autoreset circuit breaker in the 12V system, close to the battery, looking something like this:

You might see this behavior if the battery voltage is low.

The more often the circuit breaker trips, the weaker it becomes and will trip even more frequently. I have replaced mine twice in 8 years.

Thanks everyone for your quick replies!
Batteries are fairly new so I don't suspect a low battery issue. I'll look for that reset breaker.

Some early systems had a breaker rated to 40 AMPS and that was not enough. If it is the Lippert system contact them about what size breaker to install. Newer units have a breaker that has to be reset with a little button on it. Chris

Weren't there some LCI systems with like a 50a breaker that they replaced with an 80a? I remember something like that 3-4 years ago and was amazed at the jump they made.

My Montana was doing this a few years back and the Dealer said it was O.K. to change it to an 80 amp breaker per Lippert and I have never had a problem since, In fact newer Montana's have a 80 amp now

Had that problem on ours shortly after buying new. Did some digging and found a Lippert service bulletin that indicated starting amp surge was too great and to replace 40 amp auto breaker with 50 amp. Did and that solved the issue.
