We bought four tall directors chairs for our bar from the Kissimmee Camping World store, the bottom folding foot rail on all four is failing due to shotty workmanship, I called CC customer service and was told flat out that the manufacturer offered no warranty and neither does Camping World and I should had purchased an extended warranty at the store,,,, for folding lawn chairs that are five odd months old,,,,, I then contacted a "Stacey" at CC's customer service and sent her photographs of them who pass me up to an "Ella" who passed me up to a "Brenda" who passed me up to a "Vincent Davis" who I was told at the Kissimmee Camping World store doesn't work there,,, and when I called CC's customer service line,, yet again,, was told by I forgot her name that Camping World will not replace these chairs as in their opinion there's nothin wrong with them,,, all four foot bars are failing at the fastener they pivot on and the holes they go through are elongating, my concern was that someone will step on them and have a fall to hard concrete and my reason for my complaint was two fold,,, get replacements and show Camping World the crummy way their supplier build the product they sell to it's customers!

By the way the RV sales manager Jeff at the Kissimmee Camping World store saw the pictures and agreed with me that they should be replaced and would "beat-up on Bill the product manager" on my behalf as long as I bring my Cedar Creek Daydreamer fiver' over to trade in on a new fiver',, LOL,, these guy's wont look after $200+ worth of folding chairs and I'm going to buy a $100.000+ RV from them????

That is terrible service indeed.

Just got off the phone with the area sales manager a Vincent Davis, nice fellow, he saw the pics and agreed to refund my purchase and inform the CC buyers to look into the quality of these chairs so I'll buy new ones at our Canadian Tire store and move on. All in all though I'm neither impressed with the store or the run-around I received over four crummy lawn chairs.

It looks like customer service of old is rapidly on the decline, when we call customer service dedicated lines for help we are always put on hold forced to listen to their messages only to end up speaking to someone who either doesn't know their product or barely speaks English! I read an article a couple of years ago that all the big-box stores will be automated sooner than later and I'm seeing it now at home depot, Walmart with self-serve check-out lanes and I also had a bad experience with the newly acquired gander outdoors as well and my only defense to this trend is simply to boycott them. a real good example is here in St Cloud FL, we have all the big-box stores here plus a fairy useless new ace hardware but luckily we have a good old fashioned Handy Hardware store where your greeted when you walk in and will be helped with anything anytime by knowledgeable courteous staff,,, they get all my business! I think down the road things will get way worse than better.
