For those of you towing (or have towed) a Jeep Liberty, what supplemental braking system do you recommend?

Thank you

Absolutely. Had it installed on my 08 Wrangler and will be doing the same on the '19 once it gets here.

Take a look at Ready Brake system. Easy install on my Wrangler, Liberty canโ€™t be much different.

X2 SMI Stay N Play that's what I installed on mine unit installed on drivers side inner fender. Ran a wire through 6 pin plug to a LED light on dash of MH that lights when Jeep brakes are on. Separate wires from front to back on Jeep for brake lights with separate sockets and bulbs.

I would suggest the SMI Stay N Play or the Roadmaster InvisiBrake
These units remain in toad vehicle. You just have to turn them on. No removing unit to operate the toad.
