Not sure if this has been mentioned previously but there is a "Golden Age Pass" available for only $10 to all seniors, regardless of which state you reside in. The pass offers half-price camping from Sunday-Thursday (excluding holidays), and free access to Maryland state parks. I, for one, would like to say a big thank you to Maryland for offering this. This is the link.

They define it as "62 or older".

Got one. We consider ourselves 'guest' MD residents. We are not US citizens but our RV resides in MD. All trips begin & end in a MD SP.
A shame other states do not offer the same benefit. Many of them really nail you if you are out of state. So much for encouraging tourism.

I’ve mentioned the Maryland Golden Age Pass several times, noting that its available to non-residents, although not in a dedicated thread. It’s a far better deal than my own state gives me, and the best treatment for out-of-staters I’ve come across. Use it once, and it’s more than paid for itself. Some pretty good State Parks, too. If you’re in the Mid-Atlantic region, or visit even sporadically, it’s a no-brainer.

I get a 20% discount at all GASP’s we visit and a 50% in our Florida Parks which only honor state residents. We visit Georgia parks on average of 30 days a year. We always buy the Georgia annual park pass that gives additional discounts.
