I was busy today

Today I got my TT out to get some preventative maintenance done. First I installed the wet bolts on my suspension. Getting the old bolts out was a PITA.
Since i had the TT jacked up, I checked the bearings to see if they were properly greased when new. The bearings were properly lubed from the factory much to my surprise from what I have read on this forum. I also checked my trailer brakes. Since the trailer only has 800 miles on it, I expected them to be pretty loose. I was right, they needed to be set tighter. I took care of that right away. I will test tow the trailer tomorrow and post how they work.

I know what you mean about getting those old bolts out. Did you also replace the plastic bearings in the springs? For others considering doing this upgrade, this thread should help you out.
Good on you for doing some necessary inspection and maintenance! ๐Ÿ™‚
