Everchill refrigerator

Anyone have a 12 volt Everchill compressor refrigerator? How do you like it? How much power does it draw. And any other input. Thanks

I have a Dometic CR series and it's fantastic. The Waeco compressor is very efficient and duty cycles when cold. I think it draws around 2,5 amps when cycling.

Don't think so. No compressor fridge works on propane. Only 12 volts, 110 or 220 (if European).

Which model? This one is rated to draw 11 amps @ 12 vdc.

Looks like the manufacturer reported it draws 8-9 amps at startup and until temp is reached. Drops to 3 amps to maintain. I dont know enough about 12v batteries to know how long the normal RV battery could power one off grid. My 12v fridges have always been plugged into the truck while driving and have run overnight without killing the battery or triggering the low voltage shutoff.

Im interested in seeing people’s experiences with these as well. Ive owned a few different portable fridges (Engel,Norcold and Indel B) with 12volt compressors and theyve worked amazingly well.Ive seen the Everchills in new RVs but owner feed back and reviews have been minimal
