I've sold every used RV and vehicle I've ever owned with.

1. A documented and extensive maintenance history
2. The unit looking as good as it can be, washed, waxed, vacuumed, etc.
3. The complete story of everything I know about it, good and bad. What broke, what leaked, and what isn't broke yet, but probably will sometime.

Everybody left with a smile, and the feeling that they got a good deal from somebody they can trust.

Disclose what you know, and feel good about it.

I even disclosed everything I knew on my last trade in with the dealer. It's just ingrained in me.

Treat the prospective buyer the way you would like to be treated when you are about to purchase something pre-owned.

I found disclosing what is wrong, highlighting what is good is a good policy. I sleep well after the sale.

What goes around comes around. Not every business deal is a win-win situation. I look at it from the standpoint of how much pleasure I derived from the use of my rv.

They all have had signs of use but it was pleasurable use and I think the buyers could see that.

It's nice to be nice and as others have said, sleep well and know that the buyer will be a happy camper.

Disclose it. I've always shared as much info with a private seller as I can, most were new RV owners and didn't know what to ask. I've never had a lemon so no issues.

I traded in a Toy Hauler and kept waiting them to ask questions, all they asked was the condition and my honest reply was it's in good condition. I did have a brush with a tree branch, no leaks and I did the repair with EternaBond tape. They called later, after all the papers were signed and said I had failed to disclose the damage. I told them you never asked about any damage, I think they realized they handn't I told them all about it, and that I'd even bought the EternaBond tape from their parts department!
