From Ram to a Ford

I posted a few weeks back about selling my 14 Ram MC DRW for a 3/4 ton Ram or Ford. I have since purchased a 2019 Ford 3/4 ton Platinum.
Here are my opinions after 2300 miles in the Ford.
Ford-
- more comfortable seats and cabin.
- smoother ride
- tons of power and pretty fast
- transmission shifts smoother then the Ram Aisan no clunking.
- massage seats are awesome
- much better sunroof.
- very nice tailgate with step

Ram
- Cummins is a better pulling motor IMO, but it was a DRW compared to a SRW and there’s no comparison, as well as different gears and the Aisan was a very good towing trans.
- better EB over the Ford
- megacab has more storage space
- better sound sound system
- some features are better then the other and vise versa.
- almost cried when they took my Ram.

I am very happy with my new Ford. I just hope I get the same reliability as my last two Rams. I’m not brand loyal because these manufactures don’t care about me or what I think. I buy the truck that feels good to me when I test drive. That’s why I choose the Ford this time around.
BTW all of these trucks are awesome but very expensive.

Discussing model years with people it looks like April of the previous year is the earliest a manufacturer can deliver next year’s model. Ordering for my 2015 Ram was open around August 2014 and my 2005 Ford was ordered toward the end of the 2005 builds in late February 2005 and delivered early May 2005. My 2006 Weekend Warrior was delivered May 2005, my 2012 Arctic Fox was delivered March 2012 and my 2018 Host was delivered April 2017.

The 2020 Super Duty order banks will not open till some point in August- September . . .

My mistake, I thought the new HDs are considered 2020’s.

You mean like this? This is a new 2019. Most likely what you saw???

I don’t think they are any changes to the 2020 vs the 2019. 2019 is the first year of the new design. Probably small changes only.

Hi I also just traded my 15 Ram C/C DRW,For a 19 Ford DRW C/C .
I was looking at the Ram Laramie Longhorn but the Ford was better priced. The King Ranch was $905.00 list more than Ram but because of the Ford incentives
the Ford was $3,000 Less than the Ram, and thats out the door, I did road test the GM and if I was buying by price alone the GM would have won.
So now after haveing the Ram for for years (No repairs) but many recalls. I am back in the King Ranch.
4 years ago I traded my 08 King Ranch in on Ram back then the Ram was $4,000 less than the King Ranch. Thing change but remain the same.
So now I only have 300 miles on the King Ranch so no towing yet, I will put at least 500 miles on the King Ranch before I tow my trailer,Its 18,000 lbs.I will post after I tow.

That is the same as the 2019's. Did it have a manufacturer plate?

Saw a 2020 Ram 2500 on the freeway today. Looked good but definitely different than current version. It looked to be an Slt trim level.
