Need to know best RV spot for access to Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown.

Leaving Oklahoma and visiting the ark in Kentucky and then the Historic Triangle.

If there is not a single place to stay please tell me how you visited the three towns.

I think we will be driving for 1 million miles round trip...

We stayed across the river at Chippokes Plantation State Park.
Very nice park and the ferry is free.

If you want an additional option or if space isnt available at Heritage, Newport News Park is a good option, large city owned campground, about 20 miles east of Williamsburg and only about 15 minutes south of Yorktown.

If you prefer state parks, Chippokes Plantation state park is right across the river from Jamestown. There is a free car ferry that drops you off at Jamestown. The campground has water and electric hookups and room between sites.I believe we paid $33 a night.
