We are debating trading our 5th wheel, 2016 Cougar 284rdb for a 2018/2019 Jayco Hummingbird 16mrb or 17mbs. Looking for smaller, simpler to tow, give us access to pretty much any campground, cutting down our payment, finding a unit that we can store at our home due to the hoa... We probably are still $3000 upside down. Probably still owe $30000.
Is something like this possible?... We have an 800 credit rating if that makes a difference.

Thank you.

Thank you...
We have gone in and looked and at that time were looking at different units, the Jayco 5th wheels. But we are reevaluating needs vs wants. I contacted our contact in Liberty Lake about this and was told anything is possible. I just need to know if this type of trade is done. I know you probably hear this often but we don't like dealing with salespeople??????
Is our idea feasible???

Hello ramyankee,

We would have to check with the Camping World location you are wanting to work with. They are flexible and easy to work with.

Thank you,

Anything is possible but a dealer is going to only offer you wholesale on a trade in. In this case I would guess about $18750.00 max.

I agree with BillyBob Jim. You’ll be throwing a lot of Money at this just to be able to trade down.

I am not a math major but it doesn't look as enticing as what I was hoping. May have to go ahead and make some renovations to make ours "more comfy".
