Garmin InReach SE+

Just a heads up as these come up in conversation every so often. Amazon has the SE+ for $289. That's $10 less than for the mini and about $60 less than its usual proce.

I think the SE+ may be discontinued in the near future (seems it's not getting a lot of space on the garmin website these days), so if you want more than the mini but not as much as the explorer, now's the time.

I've had the explorer since it came out. I'm never without it when traveling, camping, hiking, off road motorcycling and cruising. It's been around south america, cuba, all over the west coast and I've never had an issue sending or recieving messages, contacting people, sharing location, or mapping.

it or the SE+ is IMHO a valuable tool if your often in locations where emergency contacts, or extraction may be important it's well worth the $$.
