I just purchased a 2019 Ford Expedition (4x4 and 3.73 axle ratio, which can tow 9000lbs and also has the heavy duty tow pkg) and am towing a 25 foot Rockwood Roo, which weighs about 6500 pounds. I used weight distribution bars with my previous tow vehicle. Will I need it with the Expedition?
Also, the Expedition has trailer sway control, will I still need the anti-sway bar installed?
Thanks, Lori

Yes, I think I would use the weight distribution and anti-sway hitch. That is still quite a bit of trailer for that platform.

Yes.
I pulled a <5k# TT with a Full sized Tundra (almost 10k# rated) and always used wd hitch. Cheap price for more control/safety. Wind is not your friend.

The anti-sway on the Expedition is something that kicks in after things are getting out of control. Anti-sway devices on hitches help to prevent sway in the first place. Apples & Oranges.

Yeah, after watching the videos of the 'anti-sway' system in action on a video from Mr. Truck I know I never want to experience it in real life. It was a horribly violent affair that I thought had as much chance of causing an accident as saving you from one, WAY better to stop it before it happens. Also at 7k pounds your almost for sure over what the receiver is rated for without weight distribution (generally 500# tongue weight)
