Our truck seats 6 and have done it many times. Just put the littlest one up front and drive on.

An easy solution would be have the second adult drive an additional vehicle, and put a couple of belly buttons in that.

My 2018 GMC crew cab has the flip up console and will seat 6 legally. The 11 year old could sit in the front center.

Besides the legalities of seat belting, my first thought would be -- would you want to go on an extended drive with that many people crammed in the cab?

Local camping, under 30 minutes away, sure. Otherwise I'd try to figure out other transportation options, such as having some people go separately in a car.

Back in 2015 I picked up my F-350 and the first camping trip was 1200 mile 1 way with me, DW, our 2 kids 15 and 20 and our 2 nieces also 15 and 20... I have the 40-20-40 up front with the 3rd belt in the middle...

Stick with as many belts as you have.....

If you can put another set of belts in the back seat, why not. My dad put two belts in his 66 GMC so my sister and I could rid in the middle of mom and him, in a reg cab!
I've hauled mine around more miles than I can imagine in a crew cab, bench in front seat. Made everyone have time in the middle front, arguing with the e-manual shifter too! There was very few are we their yet comments. Other than when the AC went out, or was being goofy.
Like my parents before, let the kiddo's know, there is one way to go camping, put up with it!

When I was a child, My dad installed additional seatbelts in a 1967 Galaxy 500. They were every bit as sttrong as the factory ones. We were a family of 7, and on occasion we had 8 people in that car. Everyone was belted in, everytime. Dads rule.

My Ram has a flip up console that converts the front row to a bench and yeah we've done 6 people for short stints. There's no center shoulder belt in our Ram so I wouldn't rely on it for any long distance driving, although I think the Fords have a shoulder belt on their front bench models so they may be more workable. I would not put 4 kids in the back row except for dirt/gravel roads at lower speeds. I'm also not above letting them ride in the bed in those scenarios, though. Quick somebody call CPS.

No, the only way to haul 6 people is to get a front bench seat. Every person has to have a seat belt as others have stated.
