2005 Lance 1191 Need Opinions

We are looking at a 2005 Lance 1191 and would like you opinions and known things to look for.
Also, how would you compare the Lance to the Artic Fox Silvers? Both have aluminum framing.

At almost 15 years, the camper that is in better shape is the better camper.
Look into every compartment and every corner.
Test every feature of the camper. Try to put it on the jacks alone. See how stable it stands. A little bit of sway is normal. Are there any previous repairs, e. g. to the front jack mounts? Do slideouts open and close smoothly, close fully, and sit square in their opening?
Try to bring someone with RV experience with you if you don't have any.
Any rot / leak issues that you find frequently turn out to be much worse once you start disassembly. Are there delamination bubbles or wrinkles on the outside walls?
TCs are very good at hiding issues. Usually, there is no smell that could give a leak issue away.
If the camper passes all checks and fits your needs and wants well enough, buy it regardless of the manufacturer.

The aluminum framing is kind of a farce. They don’t weld it properly they just tack-weld them.
I’ve read a few stories about the AF water tanks busting out of the floor while off the truck.
Any camper, leaks and rot are the biggest issue.
I’d be most attracted to one that had photos of it being stored inside a shop in the ad, and/or located somewhere in the dry southwest.
