Although there is mention of the railroad to Churchill, there is no mention of the Nelson River*, which leads to York Factory. My memory of fur trading days says the English ended their ocean voyage at York Factory.

* Online article about York Factory and the building owned by Parks Canada, says Hayes River.
& I, I took the road less travelled by.

There are numerous ways in & out if you're not dependent on a car.
There is a rail line that runs through Gillam as well as several high tension electric transmission corridors. Walking any of those would give you an easy to follow route and ample opportunity to seek cover if an aircraft was heard.

As terrible as this situation is, I don't think these kids will make it back to northern BC.

When I have been down in the States I have picked up quite a number of cases where Fox clearly had NOT checked their facts on stories from Canada!!

Reports in print at CBCnews online say autopsy 'will be set up' to confirm identity and determine cause of death. Male bodies were found 1 km from items found on the Nelson River.
