Has anyone replaced their radiator over flow tank on a Cummins Diesel? If so did you have to go to a dealer for a replacement? What was the cost! It's on a Freightliner chassis.

when the second plastic one on the safari started showing 'age' at only (2) years after install
i found a powered coated steel one online thru a link on a Monaco Forum
that was in 2014 IIRC it $149
it did come with a site glass, although i had to move it to a spare 'hole' facing outside what was the rear of coach
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

Some one stated they had problems with the plastic ones, leaking at the seam. They have improved the newer ones. I had my leak at the seam.Freightliner replaced mine. Had to go thru the bedroom. Can't remember the cost.

I had mine replaced by Freightliner. They used a metal truck over flow tank and fabricated a bracket system to hang it. Unfortunately I no longer have a visual of how much fluid is in the tank so every once in awhile I have to use a dip stick to check it.
