Most of the time, dirt doesn't really stick to these plastic mats after it is dry. A quick brooming will usually do it.

I have a doormat does that count, just shake it out and stow it.

How does one clean - at minimum hose off - a large patio mat?

I've always just laid the mat out on the lawn and sprayed it with a garden hose. Let it air dry then fold it up, ready for the next trip. [emoticon]

If you ordered a real Patio Mat, you can just sweep it as you fold it back up. Unless you camp in mud, sweeping will do the trick.

I hit it with the leaf blower sometimes when it's really dusty. Other than that, we've never done more than just shake it out.
