Why - it's only 180 miles? What kind of mileage are you getting?
Fuel at FJ in Cheyenne and if needed top it off in Casper
Kind of what I was thinking. I'd think the only reason to stop between Cheyenne and Casper is my bladder fills before my fuel tank empties. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I usually just check Gas Buddy for prices and then look at Google Maps to get a street level view to see what the station looks like. Never had a problem doing it this way. I sometimes will fill up at 60% to avoid a middle of nowhere gas stop. I had a Toyota based Damon that had short legs, only 200 miles between fill-ups so I had to be careful.

Just a tidbit of detail - the Sinclair Truck stop at Orin Jct. is roughly a quarter to half-mile east of the rest stop on Hwy 20. It is competitive "at times" (check on your own) I've seen it vary wildly from Cheyenne, Wheatland and Lusk - my usual choices when traveling between Denver and Custer/Rapid City, SD.

Many choices as pointed out by others. I stopped in Orin at a Sinclair truck stop. Competitive price and roomy.

My POI listings for truck stops/big rig fuel options concurs with Bionic Man; two fuel stops in Wheatland, Pit Stop & Wheatland Travel Center and one in Glendo, Howard's General Store. The singularity of the one in Glendo probably explains why it is more expensive. The one in Douglas is the Broken Wheel.

There is a both a Flying J and a Love's at exit 7 right south of Cheyenne, as Bionic Man said.

The northern end to Wheatland has a good truck stop just off the interstate.

There is a truck stop in Glendo, but fuel is more expensive.

Options in Douglas as well.

Personally Iโ€™d just stop in Cheyenne. Exit 7 (I think that is the number) has a Flying J, Loves and one other option n

Get an aux diesel tank for the bed of your truck and you'll never have to fuel with the trailer in tow.
