Was it road hazard? Or was it the tires fault? Did GY look at the tire?

I am NOT saying it's not possible to have a bad tire but I follow many Forums and not a single tire "failure" that I have seen posted.

I spoke to Fred Khatami a while back when he was helping me with a tread separation on a GY 17.5" "H" tire and asked him about the ENDURANCE. He said "they have been trouble free". He is a GY Field Rep in SoCal.

What do you think he is going to say, they are junk [emoticon] [emoticon]

I am hearing a lot of background noise and nothing in black and white to back it up.

Anything posted here or any other forum would be purely anecdotal.

I think they are an improvement over past tires but certainly not perfect.

This one? 7 pages and nothing other than he posted his date code.

Tireman9 even asked for pics.

Yep, that's the one I would assume.

A good reason why I pay little attention to any tire threads / posts on RV forums, good, bad, or indifferent.

Just this weekend I was sitting stopped behind someone waiting to make a left on a two lane highway. Some dunce pulling a small TT decided waiting was not for him, so he moves right crossing the white line onto the shoulder which was sort of wide, and passed the two people behind me, myself, and the guy turning left on the right while we were all stopped. He did so at speed, around 40 mph, and I heard all the debris he kicked up pepper my truck as he went by, and seen it flying around too. Wanna bet if he had a tire issue down the road a mile or two from that debris it would not be his fault, but the tires fault?

Yeah, think it was probably that one. Im not saying I agree with the post, just that I recalled one (and only one) post from the negative perspective.

I had GY Endurance on my previous TT, and they performed great. Only had them for about a year and a half though. I plan on replacing my current tires on my current 5er with GY Endurance as well.

I agree nothing is perfect. Please show me a verified ENDURANCE blowout NOT caused by road hazard.

I am extremely surprised I have not read about one.

That might be pretty hard to do since there is usually no evidence of what caused a blowout after the blowout has shredded the tire. IMO any blowout should be counted, unless you can see actually what caused it without speculation, tire failure is tire failure. That would apply to the Endurance or any other tire, LT, ST, or VR. I believe even the miraculous Sailun tires have had a failure or two.

I will be more specific about the Goodyear tires, no I have never mentioned Endurance as far as failures, and did not intend too, just the G614, and the G114. I went ,and edited my previous post about the Montana Forum . No I agree, I have never read anything about Endurance over there as far as any issues.

I am happy you went over there ,now why don't read a little about the G614's on the Montana Forum ,and of course the latest , the G114.

Yup, I tore up a Sailun, and reported it. It was not a blowout , it went flat, and was starting to come apart. TPMS is on them now, made me a believer [emoticon]

I agree , they have already surpassed their big brother the G614's . But its pretty crazy to jump up ,and down about how STELLAR they are on a 2*1/2 old tire. Lets get all giddy about them in another 3 years or so.
