Hello Everyone,

I am in Branson Mo. Heading to Panama City Fl. tomorrow. Any suggestions on a route would be appreciated.

Here is what Google says

Get on US-65 S from W Main St 4 min (1.0 mi)

Follow US-65 S to Gravesville Cutoff Rd in Bee Branch 2 h 9 min (113 mi)

Get on US-167 N/US-64 E/US-67 N in Harrison Township from AR-124 E and AR-36 E 59 min (48.2 mi)

Continue on US-64 E. Take I-22, I-65 S and US-331 S to AL-141 S in Crenshaw County 7 h 43 min (489 mi)

Continue on AL-141 S. Take County Rd 460 and AL-87 S to FL-81 S50 min (43.7 mi)

Continue on FL-81 S. Take FL-79 S to S Thomas Dr in Panama City Beach

Once I get to Memphis, I know my way. I am assuming US 65 and US 64 will be decent roads. I came into Branson from the north on US 65 other than several fairly steep but short climbs the road was fine. Can I expect about the same heading south until I get out of the mountains?

Thanks, as always

65 south is probaaly more direct, but remember it goes down through the Ozarks. I have never been that way, but I intend to stay OUT of the Ozarks in I am driving. East, then south keeps you out of the mountains. Mostly flat.

Google didn't tell me that route at all. it gave me the option of 65 south to the 412 east then south on the 63/55 to Memphis or 65 south to the 64 east to Memphis.

Go north to 60, take that east to I55, then south. May be a bit further, but its an easier drive. I personally cut across from Poplar Bluff to Kenett, then 412 east past I55, but we are going on further east.
