I hope. Off for a two week jaunt. Only a week in the state but that will see me over the mountinais and exploring several craft breweries along the way. The Seattle...more craft places.

If you see the white 4x4 C...wave hi, eh...

Hate to say it but I don't think there will be much. We need a cold spell to really bring them out and there isn't anything like that in the forcast - at least yet.
Have a great trip anyway!

Vine maples are the best, especially around Stephens Pass. I have one in my yard to remind me of WA.

Along the rivers plenty of black cottonwood, willows and maples. Bigleaf maples are around. Further east the western larch turns yellow. I like the fall in the PNW. Around the Sierras the aspen are the biggest show.

That's a beautiful state even without the fall colors.

I wonder though why you'll be amazed with WA.

You are from BC where I bet, it's more colorful come autumn, lol.

Very little colour on the wet side yet, but the high country East side is brightening up.

We are not seeing fall colours yet which is surprising.

I find the fall colors here quite beautiful. No need to travel to Canada to see them.
