Hi,

An interesting concept! A recirculating shower that filters the water.

Referred to as "the hour shower".

So every bit of water that goes down my butt will then go over my face. Maybe if you're really trying to save water I guess. Of course you'd have a little trouble if you wanted to get clean by using soap. Desperate measures I suppose.

Why not? The hyper-wealthy in the too-far-east are still considering towing icebergs into corrals and changing the weather in the nearby port city. Death Valley into Paris? Somehow modify trillions of tons of shifting sand into crops like truffles and dates (BS maybe?).

One teeny problem here with all these pie-in-the-sky daydreams.

ENERGY
NASA or BEZOS can afford a nuclear reactor for 100 Mw needed to do this.

Yeah, link is intentionally buggered by youtube to prevent direct linking.

Apparently, the inventors/users don't understand the concept of Solutions tho (from what I can discern of the orig post). Or have lower standards of hygiene than I do.

I didn't have any trouble linking to it. The OP's link is the one in my following post. Doesn't have anything to do with U-Tube, just improperly done by the OP.

Yuck!

I'll stick with big tanks to keep me in water when I boondock.

I carried 200 gallons of fresh water in my Eagle. That was good for three weeks if we were careful.

Hi,

I've redone the link--it seems to work for me. Can someone confirm it is now working? Thanks in advance.

I think I'd be tempted to put the filter before the pump, not after.

I'd probably add a 12 volt immersion heater, too.

As I said--not to drink!

It works now. Don't work for me (recycle shower). I find that a bit extreme.

Does that filter filter out the soap and shampoo? Might be hard to rinse off.
