Hydraulic leveling legs making noise

Hey you all, I’ve been doing some regular maintenance stuff and in checking out my hydraulic levelers on my C everything works great except when retracting all jacks after all 4 jacks are up the pump continues to run sounding like it’s still retracting but only for about 5 seconds. I don’t seem to remember it doing that before. I did add some hydraulic fluid and run the system a few times and checked for foam but all loooked well. Any thoughts. ?

When you say you added "some" fluid, how much?
Extend the hydraulics fully then retract fully. Check fluid once retracted.
There may be a few air bubbles in there.
Use fluid specifically for hydraulics, not power steering fluid or ATF.

I'd ask Tom. If it's his regular maintenance you're doing.
It's probably normal. If the jacks retract, all is well.
Mike. Comments are anecdotal or personal opinions, and worth what you paid for them.
