Slide moving out

Recently my bedroom slide has been moving out while the motorhome is parked in storage. I am checking it every day now and finding it has moved out all the way or maybe 6 inches or so. This is crazy!
Any ideas what causes it or what to do?
Will it move out while the vehicle is in motion? That thought is scary.

IN Tulsa I do not know anyone
In Flint,MI I'd call Rachel (Nordstrom's RV) You can look her up for reference.

She is a Mobile On-Site RV service technician Reasonable rates and comes to your site. and I am 100% sure there are people like her in/near Tulsa.

AN RV-Dealer... That's my other choice. On their site repair as it were.
Some of them are reasonable prices. most are not.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Thanks for the responses...UPDATE... The slide DOES move out in transit a few inches in 2 hours. When parked/ stored it will move out the whole way over 2 days. It does have hydraulic motors if that helps.
Any more help? Who would fix it?

I was using the automatic levelers and as it was leveling itself, the main slide started moving out from closed position.
Does an RV guy fix this hydraulic problem or go to a truck repair shop?

Jack and Slide systems are NOT worked on by Truck shops. You need to find a qualified RV service center. Call them and state your Year/Model and type slide/jack system and ask if they have worked on that type system before. Only go to a shop that has knowledge of your system. Since the Jacks operation causes the slide room to move, that points to a pump area solenoid. BUT, some LCI slide systems did have a hose connected to the rear jacks. That would point to a slide ram internal leak. Go to LCI1.com and find your manual for your system. Doug

A good RV technician can repair your problem or a hydraulic repair shop. Not many truck shops would want to tackle slide issues

To move out 6 inches points to a HYDRAULIC slide. Disconnecting the battery will not affect ANY slide to prevent going out in storage. HYD slide pooch out when they have either an internal leak(most common) or external leak (you can see the fluid). That means you probably have a Lippert HYD slide from owning a Georgetown. If no external leaks, then either a manifold solenoid is seeping internally or one of the slide rams has an internal ram seal bypassing. Schwinteks CANNOT extend. Accuslides CANNOT extend. Slides with a motor Brake(Powergear) will only pooch out about 2 to 4 inches max. Doug

If you are plugged in it may still move with batteries disconnected.

Find the motor and if there is a plug/socket.. Unplug (some have some have not)

I have it in indoor storage and plugged in to keep the refrigerator running and the batteries charged. I have looked for a slide lock but can't see one. From what I see, it moves out about 4-6 inches a day while parked. I will see if it moves with house batteries on disconnect.

If it's a Powergear slide with rack/pinion, the free-wheeling brake on the actuation motor has likely been released. There should be a lever on the motor that is fairly easy to flip back and forth that releases the motor to free-wheel to allow for adjustment. It happened to mine, and although I keep the slide locks in place when going down the road, I noticed in the mirror that the bottom of the slide was slightly out. Took me some thinking on it, but I discovered the motor brake lever, flipped it back and all was good.

I have some, I guess you call them locks, that clamp on inside the motor home and prevent the slide from moving out especially while moving. They came with the motor home. Might look into something like that.
