Where is the manual slide out override on my 2011 Komfort?

Hi,

I just purchased a 2011 Komfort Trailblazer T240RK. It has a slide out. The electric works on it, but I want to know where the override manual crank is in case the power fails on me when out and about one day. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Your trailer might not have one, our 2007 Komfort 274TS has 2 slides, the rear bedroom slide had a manual crank, the main front slide didn't, I put one in when I had the underbelly off to do some wiring.

The back one is on the side the door is on in the fiberglass wall, the front crank is in the frame right where the steps are.

I didn't say "electric manual override", I said "electronic manual override". And it only makes sense if you own one and want to know what to do if it quits working. Starts on page 12 of the service manual.

My old Jayco you could use a ratchet on a bolt under there.

You’ll need to get up close and personal (underneath) to find it.

Some have a hole in the side of the trailer for a crank. My trailer has a small crank that fits on a bolt under the trailer on the slide out motor or gear case. It has been a long time since I was under there so can't remember exactly. If you don't see a small hole, crawl under and look at the slide mechanism. You should find some way of turning the motor or shaft. Might be with just a wrench and not a special crank.
