Have a 94 Allegro Bay, Chevy chassis with the autobrake. It is leaking again and I've heard of people disconnecting them. First, is it safe to disconnect it? Second if I do will putting the transmission in park keep the coach from rolling? Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you!

Yes, oldusedbear is the authority on the auto park system. His name is Roger Haag (sp). He is very helpful, you have to email him as he can't hear on the phone. To answer your question, if you disconnect the auto park you will have no park or parking brake. You will have to chalk the wheels to keep the coach from rolling!

On those with a โ€œParkโ€ position, that isnโ€™t sufficient. Use the Parking brake too.

If you have the autobrake, you DO NOT have a PARK position with your transmission that will keep the coach from rolling.
