Another good road report

I just hauled a "stranded" 42 foot 5th wheel from Lo de Marcos to Dallas, TX. Pulling this load, I did not have to worry about speeding and radar.

By and large the roads were in very good condition. Lots of new concrete and asphalt. I love the GDL Macro bypass. The Lagos de Moreno bypass had a new surface the whole route. The new SLP bypass is far superior and well worth the toll. Hwy 57 is getting worked on and is much improved. Lots of new concrete from Monterrey to Laredo.

Lots of new fuel stations too.

I found it interesting. It's possible, if you hadn't made mention of yourself in the video, I may not have picked up on the fact that they were not using their truck (assume they abandoned it near Compastela)

Too bad they didn't credit you with the rescue. Even done for profit, these services are very necessary in any country.

Great job!

Great You Tube videos - very professional with music added. Sorry, I don't know the correct terminology for the terms dealing with videos... In short, very nice job!

LOL, had to be. Not many people would take a 42' fifth wheel into Mainland Mexico. Take care and glad you were there for them, they were in between a rock and a hard spot.

Roc, Thanks for the link. That was me and my truck, La Bestia. It was a big trailer. I took it nice and easy.

They were a very nice family. I was glad to assist them.

We were in SMA over the summer and yes, the 57 is much improved.

Lots of infrastructure going up around the south end of Nuevo Laredo. With all the overpasses it looks like they are making some faster connections to the border.

Great report.
