My 4th. Ford V10 Class A, but lacks power???

Just bought a new 2020 MoHo. Its 30 ft. long and I tow a jeep which I've done for years behind other V10s. I've had a 30 foot 2001, 305 HP Georgetown. A 34 Foot 362 HP National Surfside. Another 305 HP in a Thor Vegas. All pulled my jeep with no problem. This new 2020 305 HP V10 seems to be lacking in power? Has This latest V10 engine been 'Detuned' for some kind of Emission Control **** or the like? If so, what can I do t get my Power back? 😞

OOps ... Wrong Category. I'm used to Class'A'. I should list this under Class'C' because its on the Ford E-450 Van chassis. Thanks all for input tho.

I have a 2019 Jayco Prestige 38ft on the 24K chassis. It's downright quick and pulling our 4K trailer is awesome as well. Our gearing I believe is 613. It's possible you have mismatched gearing for your total weight. A five star tuner might help some.

I know mine feels underpowered, but that is due to the drive by wire system. It doesn't give you full throttle opening. Next year a 5star tune will correct that.

That would be 320 HP & 460 lbs torque.

He said in his profile that it is a Class C not A, that is why he said 305 HP. Although in his title he states 2020 Class A.

Ok that makes sense. Yes the E350 got the lesser V-10.

Is the check engine light on? You have a new vehicle under factory warranty. If you feel somethings amiss, IMO, the first stop should be your Ford dealer before any "outside experts" start tinkering around with it. You do want to keep your Ford factory warranty intact, . . . . don't you?

Oh ya, hey lowered it when they went to the 6 speed. Or more accurately rated them differently.

I assume your using tow/haul mode? It doesn't make more power but it does manage it better. I use tow/haul all the time even when not towing. I have a 2017 Greyhawk towing a Kia Soul. The power seems ok to me. Check the air intake system. Actually take it apart to make sure all is well with the intake, it's easy to do.
