This letter increments as newer oils come out. SN is the latest and exceed all previous levels.

Honda is your best, official source for this information. Was it unavailable?

I use this in my generator, and all my lawn equipment. Excellent stuff, especially when running my genny for 8 hours, stopping only to fuel. Your generator will thank you.

I run the same oil as in my truck engine so I only have to buy and carry one oil. Rotella T6 5W-40 Synthetic. Has worked well for lots of hours and several years. I run it in seven different generators.
