In around 40 years of RVing last year I lost my first thing to theft. My former next door neighbor at my very nice and well managed storage lot, must have liked one of my $3.00 plastic wheel chocks and took it with him when he moved out.

My bro has a single axle v nose cargo/bike trailer. Someone stole a led clearance light off the outside by drilling off the 2 pop rivets...

Only thing I had stolen while camping was a little cast iron skillet stolen at the point of a badge.
I always wonder when I hear of campground I wonder how much light is on the site.

I've had a tailgate protector blow off and I've had to screw down the bed side protectors as the adhesive likes to release from the suction under the 5er and beat the **** out of said 5er.
I doubt anyone stole it.

Happened to me basically my first time out. They stole my breakfast. lunch, and supper.. (Also a coleman ice chest). Hoping they got indigestion. Did not let it ruin the trip.
Home is where I park it.

Once sitting outside the camper, enjoying the night. Watched a pair of kids, go into a site, than another. When they slide my cooler from under the bench, I said "Hello". Watched them run. Next morning when I saw them and parents outside I walked down with a plate of biscuits and bowl of gravy. Told the dad I was worried about his hungry kids.

I lost a generator and Stihl chainsaw while deer hunting a few years ago in the middle of the night and it really ticked me off. I am better about chaining and locking items now. I'm 41 and have been camping and hunting since I was a kid and never had something like that happen. At the end of the day it wasn't a huge deal and I'm honestly glad I didn't hear anything that would have prompted me to grab my pistol and go investigate.
