Finally we have time for a short vacation for a week starting Nov 13. Recommendations please for the night around Roseburg OR and than to Brookings, Oregon for five days. 34 foot fifth wheel. Hopefully there is a RV camp not right next to a noisy major freeway or a Casino parking lot.

A cheaper alternative to 7 Feathers is the Douglas county park about 1/2 mile from the casino. Stanton RV Park. http://www.co.douglas.or.us/parks/view_park.asp?id=44&features=&cnt= It is right on the river. Downside is that it is close to I-5 and traffic noise al night, so if you sleep lite... Casino shuttle will pickup there too.

Harris Beach State Park in Brookings. https://oregonstateparks.org/index.cfm?do=parkPage.dsp_parkPage&parkId=58

Also Drifwood RV Park https://www.driftwoodrvpark.com/?utm_source=campgroundreviews.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=R... isn't too bad but a tad cozy to the neighbors.

We really liked Twin Rivers RV Park, near Roseburg. Very quiet, right on the river, away from the freeway. The photos on their website do not do it justice -- it really was well landscaped and well located.

7 Feathers RV park is outstanding but make reservations. There is a 24 hr. shuttle service to the Casino and back to the RV park. There are 3 restaurants and a great ice cream shop:) Recommend making reservations at Brookings as well.
