Some rigs have mixing valves - maybe yours is stuck?

Sounds more like an obstruction than a leak. Does it make a difference if you are using the pump or fresh water hose from a spigot?

I would turn off the water heater and let it cool all day. Then open the lever on the Temperature and Pressure Relief valve (TPR) on the water heater and count to five while the water is running. Is there good pressure coming out of the TPR?

If good pressure on the TPR then it's possible there's a one way valve at the top of the water heater tank that's broken apart. Follow the hot out line from the water heater until you find the first 90 degree fitting. You'll want to take this fitting apart and see if it is clogged with something like the pieces from the valve.

Unfortunately you'll probably have to cut the crimp band off the connector to the 90 degree fitting. Home Depot or Lowes can sell you a replacement clamp rings and crimp pliers. Or you cna just toss teh fitting and replace it with a Sharkbite fitting (also at HD or Lowes in the same aisle)

My guess would be the check valve on the hot water out on the water heater. Normally you lose all hot pressure when they break but it is possible it lodged at an angle allowing some water to get through. Easy fix. Just don't pitch the old one until you have the new one. Mine had a rubber insert in the bottom that had to be transferred to the new one. Without it it would not seal.

YEP^^^^^^

Check Valve in WH Tank HOT OUT is restricting the flow of hot water.

Plastic plunger/spring/O-ring junk.

Is it time for your medication or mine?

Wouldn't it be nice of all, or most, of the RVers who have a problem that is helped by this Forum would close out the discussion with how the problem was fixed? We'd all learn from that.
