When we were looking for a electric blanket for winter outings, we picked up (2) smaller insulated blankets under the bottom sheet instead. That's all we need. We velcro'd them to keep them from sliding around under the sheet, but they work well for us.

Though I can not suggest a product for you I thought I'd toss in a poem. I wrote this and wrapped it up with an electric Blanket when you younger sister got hitched.. So far. She's still hitched. (Been many years)
You say our love will keep us warm
No matter how fierce the winter storm
But if you're tired some Hard Day's Night
An electric blanket will warm things right.
Yes. I remember the Burma Shave signs. That was not among them.

Uh She was and still is my Sister... Though her husband's name is JOHN.. hew's not from Detroit and not a ham radio operator..
He is, however 1/2 of a law firm (She's the other half).

For comparison, my 120v AC powered queen sized dual control mattress heater uses about .55 amps and about 70 watts of energy with both sides set to the highest setting.
I wonder if you might be slightly better off using an AC mattress heater from an inverter vs. a 12v DC model, even if you included the power conversion loss.
Sorry, but I’m not taking the mattress heater off my bed in the house to try it from the inverter in the camper, LOL ![[emoticon]](https://forums.goodsamclub.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/biggrin.gif "biggrin") Just something to think about.

Hi There, I understand the feel of the cold nights, especially when travelling the country. It 's quite difficult to contain the desirable temp inside an RV not unless if you have a very posh one. I guess best approach is to use a heated mattress I agree. I've been using the one I bought online and I'm very satisfied so far. try out Electrowarmth. Just FYI: I have always used electrowarmth and been happy with them in my home.
My last one was stolen and I replaced it with this one
I am really liking it. The control tells you how long before it shuts off, so you don't go cold unexpectedly. The pad itself is extra cushiony and you do not feel any wires at all. Heats up great - only needed it on low.
