Have to agree there.

I know there's a way to highlight a lot of lines, but I've not yet figured out how it works. I usually end up putting the cursor on the last character and holding down the X button until it's gone... character by character.

Sigh.

The two Tesla threads were probably closed because they were getting political and someone was starting to call people names. I am not sure why the creative towing thread was closed. We were on topic and were being civil. Unless Robert wanted to get the last word in there and then requested for it to be closed.

I have NEVER requested a thread to be closed check with the Moderator

Thanks, MFL! Over the years, there have been many posts that “pmo”! But, I didn’t “wimper” to a moderator. I either dealt with the “offensive” post or ignored the thread and went elsewhere! However, when getting no response from the “moderators” when I confronted them about their decision to “CLOSE” a topic.....I thought it best to leave the forum. I thought this was perhaps best..... before I explained to the moderators what I thought about their decision in “colorful adjectives” on open forum and was permanently removed. memtb

I suspect that the moderators are not paid well enough to feel any obligation to deal with confrontation.

And some people seeing their post zapped will just move on and leave the forum.

That's when forum die as there are so many out there with more lively discussions on similar interests and topics.

I agree with this too. Have occasionally contemplated abandoning RV.net. But each time an interesting fix, or answer or a thread pops open with good info or good discussion and waylays that thought. I track three other interesting forums, and the open threads run faster than I can keep up. But RV.net will hold my interest for as long as it holds my interest - I'll just open it less often.

In all my years of being in forums, I will say that those who are usually getting their posts removed by mods due to constant personal attacks or name calling and leave because of are seldomly missed. In fact, it is generally the opposite in that most are glad they are gone.

How about the ones that can't answer a post without being offensive?
