Honestly It would not hurt my feelings to have my hitch separate. There are times it would be beneficial and other times it wouldn't.

This person with the same truck right down to the color as mine with the Puck B&W Hitch was hit broadside by a Commercial DRW that WAS WAYYYYYY overloaded. He broad sided their Heavy DRV so hard it knocked the rV on it's side taking the truck along with it. Kinda ruined their day.

It would be interesting to see how much damage to the truck. Sad sight to see.

Now those are some interesting pictures!! Thanks for sharing Cummins12V98. I'm hoping you did not sacrifice your rig to get these! [emoticon]

BTW...my bike pic I talked of sharing, does exist, although I was not present when taken.

RV totaled for sure!

I would guess just the bed needs to be replaced, fuel tank should be fine.

Thanks for the pics Cummins12V98. I hate that happened to this person but am glad to see how well the hitch held up.

Imagine the forces at play to distort the hitch that way.

Thanks!

Jeremiah

If I were to go back to a fifth wheel I would seriously consider a gooseneck adapter hitch and forget about those bulky fifth wheel hitch's that's a pain to remove and takes up bed space.

How bout the MORryde IS suspension! They are very stout but did succumb to the forces.

Well I assume you are as much of a "ManlyMan" as I and I have no issue R&Ring my "HeavyWeight" B&W. As a hint to my age I drew my first SS check in November. [emoticon]
