Over Christmas I was talking with my great grand daughter , telling how in 1957 my father took us on a trip in our new Plymouth station wagon with tail fins . She stopped me and asked , what is a station wagon , what is a Plymouth with tail fins ?

I was recently on a trip with my 15, 13, and 11-year-old kids and we came upon a pay phone in a restaurant near the bathrooms. All three of them were staring at it talking amongst themselves about what they think it is.

I gave a teenager a ride in my pickup. He loved the idea of turning a crank to open the window. Was not real sure about sticking a key in a hole to unlock the door.

Just for fun, ask a teenager what qualifies as a long distance call and how much they think it would cost per minute. [emoticon]

FWIW, standard shift cars are still available from Honda and Mazda. Not sure about others ...

Good old days when things were simple and worked.

I lost my car keys and had to pay 290$ for a new fob. Can't start the car without it.

You mean it was a modern truck? No foot operated push bulb for the windshield squirters.[emoticon]
