Places to camp....?

I am seriously considering full timing....I want to go to some places I am interested in and spend some time there, like 1 - 6 months.
My question is will I be able to find RV parks near the towns where I can stay that long that won't cost an arm and a leg?
One place I am looking at is Spokane, Wa....not seeing much in what I am looking for. Any ideas?

Any advice is welcome.

TIA!

Thousand Trails, Zone Pass Camping is a great money-saver. I also use Passport America and COE Parks. Just finished over 20,000 miles in 13 months.

Worthwhile to looking into Escapees also. They have excellent parks with excellent prices.

- The daily rate will be the highest.
- The weekly rate will be better.
- The monthly rate even better.
- Many parks offer 3 month and 6 month discounted rates but you'll need to ask about them most of the time. Occasionally they post their rates on their website.
- Good Sam (or most other RV clubs and maybe AAA) membership will get you a discount.
- Passport America is a must as for as I'm concerned.
- Membership in FMCA is also a must in my opinion. It includes repatriation insurance coverage should the need arise. You couldn't buy a policy for the cost of FMCA membership.
- There are other memberhip organizations you might want to look in to - like The Elks, Coast to Coast, RPI (Resort Parks International), AOR (Adventure Outdoor Resorts) and Thousand Trails. All of these offer discounted camping for their members. Some are better than others. Don't buy a new membership from Thousand Trails.

FHU would be nice if I'm staying for 1+ months. I do use the free campsites site for shorter stays.

Do you need FHU? You can look at Freecampsites for free or cheap CG. Maybe not FHU tho. The Left Coast will be pricey.
